About me
I’m Isabelle Andrews. For over 12 years I’ve worked in digital product development and led product teams through pressure, complexity and ambiguity in organisations like the Department for Education and Unicef UK.
In 2023 I left London and moved to rural France, challenging myself to adapt and discover a new way to live. It’s been a steep learning curve, one that has given me clarity about my own strengths, as well as the difference that good design in products, services and policy can make to our lives.
My bold, empathetic approach in coaching and mentoring has helped product people grow in confidence and skill in complex settings like government departments.
I believe that establishing shared purpose, alignment and trust with other humans is the hardest - and most valuable - part of a product manager’s role.

When a product manager is new to the role or the context

As a fresh pair of eyes and ears, I can work with product teams to identify sticking points and help them re-align towards a shared vision.
When an organisation or team is new to discovery
A team planning a first discovery may struggle to find direction, see what’s valuable and maintain stakeholders’ interest amid ambiguity.
I can help them break down big questions, focus on outcomes and find ways to deliver value quickly.
